Help me give away my ARCs (and a link to a Goodreads giveaway)

So my summer has apparently vanished in a haze of heat and real life stuff and trying to GET THIS @#$%#%$#@ FIRST DRAFT DONE.

Ahem.

Anyway, it's September! Which means Empire of Shadows is out in about two months! Which is terrifying!

Yeah, kinda like that.

So right now, Harper is giving away 10 Empire of Shadows ARCs on Goodreads. So go forth and enter, if that is your sort of thing.

Meanwhile, I'll try to figure out some kind of giveaway for the ARCs of EoS that I have. I don't want to do a contest too close to release date, but it would be a shame to let this little stack of pretty books go to waste.

What do you all think? How should I give away my ARCS?

  1. You should give at least one of them to me, because (a) I'm wonderful, (b) I now have a book blog where I could review it and (c) I can't enter the Goodreads giveaway because it's only open to US people. Three convincing reasons, right? Other than that, I got nothin'.

  2. Start an ARC blog hop and see if any other bloggers have some they want to give away...it could be a whole thing. :)

  3. A lot of my author friends have held contests via Twitter and Facebook. That's gotten a lot of attention. You should see your Goodreads entries. It's blown completely off the map!
There's also a bunch of sites. rafflecopter.com and viralsweep.com are the two most common ones that have hosted the contests, and you can set up the contest for free. It's pretty great.
But really, just give me one of them. :) I'm pretty sure I was one of the very first people to read your book, back in January of '13. It truly reminded me of why I love to read and write YA Fiction. So, thank you. :)

  4. Good question. If you have a newsletter, you could hold a giveaway just for subscribers.
By thte way, Empire of Shadows has a cover as beautiful as the first one, congratulations :-)
